Freak out about moths when naked

I mostly have no issue with Moths. Like if one crawled up my arm while wearing a singlet I'd just brush it off.

However if the same moth landed on the back of my hand when I was in the shower or anywhere else that I'm completely naked then I freak out like a 13 year old school girl.

Clothes no issue.
Naked I flip out over contact with a moth.

Verdict?

    I freak out about cave crickets ALL THE TIME. The thought just made me gag and shiver. I despise them, I wish they'd eradicate the species so I could live in peace.

    It's more worrying that you have come into contact with those creatures whilst in the shower. I have a phobia of moths :/

    Maybe you freak out because you are in a more vulnerable state. The moth has access to areas that would otherwise be off limits and that's a scary thought.
