I used to work in retail and back to school and Christmas season were the worst. Customers were incredibly rude and demanding and I would get extremely angry that I would have to go to the stock room to calm down. I'm a really easy going person but at times talked back to customers because I couldn't stand them. It's normal but I realized I needed to control my anger because these people were not worth the time and emotion.
