Broadcast Engineering. A woman in a man’s field. I have lost out on so many job offers because those men are still misogynistic.
They give me the runaround for weeks, and then I find out that they hire someone else who physically cannot do parts of the job, in less than a weeks worth of consideration.
Let the natural selection of bias vs capitalism take its hold. Companys that refuse to have any diversity represented tend to have a harder time selling thier services to those of other diverse backgrounds than the company. Leading to boycotts and the eventual switching to letting everyone in because of capitalism.
I wish that were the case for my current company. I work in a different sector, but applied for the ENG position via a recommendation from a colleague (a friend who went through same school training with me). Lesson learned.
For trans people to still feel bad after switching genders?

If they are that misogynistic why do you even want to work with those assholes?
