Yes, humans used to have sex before IVF because we weren't intelligent enough to create that and the only form of reproduction was sex. Now, however, we have progressed and created IVF, which isn't widely used because it's expensive and because most people still aren't enlightened enough to understand that sex isn't good for them.
Maybe one day we'll have smarter people and cheaper IVF. In the meantime I'll just go around preaching those ideas.
Because we're going back to our animalistic instincts instead of evolving to be fully spiritually and intellectually elevated creatures. And because it wastes time that could be used with more useful things like art or science or even love. And even if you don't agree with me that it's bad, there is no argument to justify why it's good. Sure, there's chemical pleasure, but enjoying that only proves that you are willing to submit to procreation instincts when you don't even want to procreate. What's even worse is that some people go great lengths just to get such a meaningless type of pleasure, sometimes hurting others, and missing out on the other parts of life. Some even go as far as saying it's an expression of love! Pff, it's only an expression of your instinctive desire to procreate. It may not be necessarily bad, but it's very backwards.
