Weed is medicine and can be abused just like any other prescription medicine, your point is invalid. And the only effects it has on your brain is messing with its development before it has been fully developed by your early 20's.

The only reason that you don't know about it is because how hard the government is trying to cover it up, but medical professionals know, and will treat you with marijuana if it comes down to it. At the minimum in cancers (brain and breast have been confirmed in humans), it will cut the size of the tumor by over half.
