No, it's very unsanitary and I can't imagine how that room must smell. If you're going to have to get out of your warm bed and wake yourself up enough to walk to the corner of the room anyway, you'd might as well walk to the bathroom.
I will say that having a master bedroom/bathroom is super nice for this reason.
