I wish I could find it, in the 90’s on of the tmnt comic i had.
Had a really cool and detailed depiction of the “world on the back of a giant turtle” but i can never image search it and idk if i even still have that issue
Its one of those things burned into my mind.
But i read that book “helix” years and I remember liking it. It prompted me to read a few more of Eric Brown’s novels
Just gonna pop over to my drinks GLOBE and pour myself a glass of Chivas.
I'd really like to meet a flat earther in real life and greet them appropriately.
I'd start drooling like a retard, start saying "Duh, duh, duh, buttered toast and this is Patrick" and pull out my flaccid cock!
That's how flat earthers great each other right? XD
My favourite whack-job theory about the earth is that we all live on the internal surface of a hollow sphere, the sun is a half-black blob of molten magma suspended at the centre of the sphere, and the stars are lumps of ice suspended around the sun.
I'm sure I recall reading that the Nazis provided some sort of funding and support to people who believed that if they could make a telescope powerful enough, they could look across the internal space of the sphere and spy on what was happening in the USA.
I don't think much happened with that, but I'm sure there are those who believe that was only because of a vast conspiracy to conceal the truth.
More people believe that the current scientifically accepted cosmology is correct, but we live on the external surface of a hollow sphere, there is another world below our feet, and the entrance is somewhere in Antarctica.
