As a lesbian, I've found it's been a mixture of physical attraction and emotional connections. In general, I find female physical bodies more attractive than males, but I generally develop a much stronger emotional connection to girls as well.
And don't worry, it'c completely normal to question, regardless of age! I'd agree with what's already been said: experimenting could be a good plan if you want to explore this side of your sexuality.
It's no problem! I definitely preferred female bodies during puberty as well, if that gives you any more information, but I also knew my orientation at a fairly young age.
