i think you were a bit harsh and over the top. what you said was mean. i agree his behaviour was immature, trashy and embarassing for the rest of the party, but yeah, he is a trashy guy from texas, so you shouldnt have been surprised.
you still could have gotten the message across if you had worded it nicer.
