I disagree. Female stalkers are more manipulative. Male stalkers have a tendency to stop the behavior once the ex girl friend moves on and finds someone else and stands up for herself. Female stalkers are harder to prove and they take full advantage of this. They will be obsessed for years and try to destroy the man's life with lies about abuse and rape.

Men are much more likely to act out violently, so if a man is stalking a women there is a greater element of fear.
