    you can only teach people so much

    they need to make a conscious effort at some point to exercise self control to improve their own lives & dispositions and not appear like a complete mess to the world

      “you can only teach people so much” isn’t really applicable in a situation where you’re making zero effort to teach somebody literally anything. That’s just an unironic use of the “we’ve tried nothing and we’re all out of ideas” line from The Simpsons.

      We’re talking about an actual child here. A fucking 7 year old should not be expected to have the ability to emotionally develop on their own with zero input from an adult.

        i dont see any lessons or proposed solutions from you all i see is someone advocatin uncontrolled blubberin over havin feeeeeeelings

          "op is mid 20s not 7" No, but she was 7 when her teacher yelled at her. She was experiencing stomach pain and her teacher sent her to detention for making noise. Do you seriously expect a 2nd grader to not make noise when they're in pain?

            i dont expect much out of a 7 year old

            i do expect a mid 20 year old to git the fuck over what happened at 7 and move on with life

              Things that happen to you as child have an impact. Seemingly innocuous things can mess you up for life. She wasn't complaining about something that happened several years ago, she was saying that that's when she thinks the problem started.

                well with almost two decades youd think a rational person with any kinda motivation would do somethin about it

                i get it shes got problems and it sucks for her

                but we all got problems and its hard to take someone seriously when they fall to pieces over seeminly innocuous bullshit even though its a symptom of somethin deeper

                im sure im not the only one whod distance themselves from someone like that and people whod understandably do that are just gonna make things worse for her

                even worse shes gonna attract some jacksass whos gonna use her weaknesses against her and fuck her up real good

                shes a fuckin sociopaths dream girl

                what i still dont see is her tryin to address the issues she just wants to blame others and feel sorry for herself and its not a valid coursea action
