i'm not sure how to answer this. obviously, if someone abused someone else, they SHOULD feel ashamed, regardless of their gender identity or what sex they were assigned at birth. but, unfortunately, I think a lotta people that are sexually abusive DON'T feel remorse or shame for their actions, and that's really not okay. nobody should ever sexually abuse ANYONE, and those that have should pay and should feel bad, but DO they... i'm inclined to say most of them DON'T. :( original poster, if something happened to you or one of your loved ones, I just wanted to say I am so sorry to hear of this experience and I wish you all the best, I hope things get better for you. it wasn't your fault/the fault of the loved one (if that's the case), and you/the loved one are very strong and are not alone. ❤
I think it's normal for anyone that has sexually abused someone to not feel ashamed. If someone is so immoral to commit rape, they likely wont feel bad. That being said, I think female rapists are less likely to feel ashamed because in most cases the law is easier on them. I'd think people would start to feel ashamed once consequences get involved.
