They are human beings. Everyone makes mistakes. Maybe they had a life that lead them to that, that they had no control of. An 18 year old has just gained independence from their parents in most cases. They have yet to figure the world out as an adult. For you to be calling them trash is saying a lot. Yes it is a horrendous mistake, but I think we can go without dehumanizing them.
