  • Why can't mothers notice? And yes, I do. And I want to beat them mercilessly.

    • Shuggy's comment reminded me of this situation thousands of years ago. When I was 11, my parents and I were on a bus in an Italian city, and a man was standing behind me and my mother, very close to us and had his hands up our asses. I didn't really understand what was going on at the time, I'd never been touched that way, and since the bus was crowded, I couldn't even tell something was wrong until my mother started swearing every curse word she knew in her mother tongue, while two cute little nuns, sitting together, smiled and nodded approvingly. It sort of felt like a scene taken from an Italian comedy, but that's pretty much the reality everywhere.

      • O_O I would've beaten that man with my nonexistent purse! I'm really sorry that you had to deal with that.

        • Thanks. It was so surreal that we were able to laugh about it. :/

    • See, if I made a comment about that but in reverse terms, I would get so much thumbs down.

      • I think you'd sound like a concerned dad, honestly!! I wouldn't thumb you down, providing there wasn't some kind of strange ItDuz rant involved!!

        • I suppose I can't speak for everyone, but there have been a lot of time in situations the reverse of genders get thumbs down. Atleast you wouldn't thumbs such a person down.

    • Men do this to small children? I will admit I may have checked out a 16 year old or something but under 13? That is fucked up.

      • 80% of the time it 'seems' or stays innocent, but there's those few creeps that you can just tell are up to no good. You never know what someone's intentions are, they may seem nice on the outside but are just weaseling their way in to try to do God knows what (oh hell, did I create divisions in society by saying God AND hell...lol....wait for it....)

When you have kids you'll understand more. You never put it past ANYONE to be a pedo. Look at news stories...'oh we had no idea he was like that' is the most common saying....so it pays to be super vigilant.

I couldn't even count all the times my dad's older friends tried to do things with me (unsuccessfully), and one who DID manage it. Nobody had a clue, I never told anyone and when my parents caught the one guy, they didn't do shit about it and made fun of ME for it happening. It was a guy who worked for them, he didn't get fired, he didn't get yelled at, and I was about 10 at the time. Fucked up. I got teased...'ooooh is that your BOYFRIEND??'....yeah, NOT funny.

        • I can't verbalize how sorry I am. That's just so f***ed.

And really, where the hell do you live? What kind of "people" did your dad hang around with? Basically, wtf?

It's horrifying to see just how apparently normal this really seems to be.

          • Thy guy who managed it was a highschooler!! It IS a reality, any time a sexually mature male left with a female of any age there is a big risk. Not saying ANYONE would do it, BUT...given enough time and lonliness and horniness, you never know, best to just avoid it all together. I mean, husbands do it to their daughters (and sons), if that tells you anything?
