I used to wear tight clothing because tight pants kept most of my stomach in. But it would hurt so much at the end of the day, my stomach would have marks from the buttons the rest of the night. And I was afraid that my organs would take damage, but going from the clothes I wore when I was thinner, to clothes for fat people made me so sad I got headaches all the time. Until my mom took me shopping for new clothes. Not that we could afford it, but I got a couple of pants some/many sizes bigger.
It's also because fat people don't know how to dress their size. You'll have to go to stores for fat people, and people will look at you like you live next to mc'donalds even though it's because of you're medicine that you have gained so much weight. And even when you wear clothes appropriate for your size, people will still look at you like you are a blue whale. People won't stop looking just because you dress your size, so why bother spending money on it?
