Fake limping

My dog likes to fake a limp for attention. When he sees you he puts on a limp, comes right up to me and looks me in the eyes holding his paw up and two minutes later, he's running around, nothing wrong with him, he does this especially if he's kept outdoors all day or I'm out or if nobody is paying attention to him. Honestly there is nothing medically wrong with him. What I would like to know, is my dog an attention whore?

    A friend's cat used to limp whenever she left it overnight to stay at my place and/or vomit right inside the front door or on her pillow ..... beautiful but annoying Siamese

    my wife does that with her chiropractor she will fake shit. how do i know well she will be saying im going to see my chiropractor but then ill say im going camping with my buddy and his two daughters and she will go camping instead.

      Trust me, he gets LOTS of attention, sleeps on the sofa, gets treats, plays with the kids, gets walks. Lots and lots of cuddles, he follows me everywhere around, I can't even go to the bathroom,when I'm in the bath he tries to jump in with me, sometimes I catch him just sitting there staring at me. He is a shih tzu, they can be very needy dogs!
      He's just a little attention whore but I wouldn't change anything about him.
