Face full of pus

I have a face that seems to be full of pus.

I can squeeze any bit of my face and expect to get pus out. By pus I mean white/offwhite pus slurging out, sometimes accompanied by blood or yellowy watery stuff, but mostly just on its own.

It's not normally much, just a little bit that sort of spirals out of a pore.

I have this fantasy of placing my face in some kind of squeezing contraption where I tighten some screws and every bit of my face is squeezed all at once and all the pus just explodes and splurges out, leaving me pus free.

Do I just need to change my washing routine or should I see a dermatologist? Is this normal?

Sorry for the gross out.

  • Oh my! I guess you could have blackheads all over your face, but the pus you described doesn't sound normal. Of course, I am no doctor. I would suggest seeing a real doctor. Preferably a dermatologist.

  • Little swiggles of pus sound like blackheads. That's normal.

  • I do that on occasion, it's oddly satisfying. And I have a similar fantasy, of pulling off the outer layer of my skin so that puss can just be scraped off . . . hahaha my skin isn't bad or anything, so I don't see it as a problem

  • many ppl have that so that's normal what's not normal is not accepting it and stil not looking for a dermatologist. there are loads of medicines that WILL take that pus outta ur face.

  • You have sebaceous glands. It could be hormonal. Like a hormonal imbalance if you're older or you could just have cystic acne. Either way, seeing a dermatologist is a very good idea. It could be that your skin simply needs more maintenance. A good cleanser, toner, clay masque (that should be used weekly) and a oil balancing moisturizer may do the trick. Acne sucks, I believe it is one of the worst things that can happen to someone because usually there is nothing you can do to prevent it, you just have to deal with it! Good luck.

  • Yeah, it's totally normal I assume you are a teenager experiencing bad acne and blackheads. I do know they have a lot of over the counter remedies for this, but if you have the means yes see a dermatologist.

  • pus = body fighting off bacteria

if you refuse to see a doctor then at least try to keep your face germ free. wash it frequently and use alcohol based cleaners frequently.
