Extremely jumpy

So I have this problem that causes me to jump at the smallest of things. Mostly sudden loud noises. But I'm also very jumpy at sudden rapid movements caused by people. Everyone around me laughs when this happens. My friends have a blast scaring me. The smallest noises spook me at night causeing me wake up and noit get a good sleep. However I can sleep quite well with my laptop playing music. Is this normal? Please comment and help me out.

    you have a sensitive startle reflex, has anything really terrible ever happened to you? do you have any other symptoms? maybe you have PTSD.

    Are you nervous all the time or something? Maybe try sort of training yourself by watching lots of jumpy horror movies.

      I do get nervous sometimes but when i do get nervouse its for a long period of time sometimes days and before you ask no i do not do any drugs of any sort. i do however have an occasional drink. As for horror movies i dont like them because of the feeling that your about to get scared.
