Excessive sweating

OMG, for the last 2 years, I've had this condition, which is really evident in the summer time, where I am sweating profusely. It's interfering with my life, and my doctor tells me that it's normal. I've tried women and men various deodorants and none seem to work for me. The sad thing is that it's not just my underarms that sweat. I can go outside on a day where it's 70 degrees and break out in a sweat on my face, neck, arms, chest, and underarms. The way I excessively sweat, you would think that I would be losing rapid weight, but I'm not. Is it because I have excess fat on my body? Or is it because I'm an alien? That's how I feel anyway... I can't wear shirts with sleeves in the summertime because of the embarrassment I get from the sweat stains forming on my shirts.

My old uni housemate had a condition where she couldn't properly regulate the hormones involved in water retention and had symptoms just like this when she didn't take her medication for it. It's called hyperhidrosis, and it's fairly common. See a new doctor if yours isn't taking it seriously and it's affecting your life (sounds like it is)
There's medication for this, don't lose hope.

It's probably inherited. I have it and hate it. Worst thing is in live in LA. The summers!!!!!!! I would love to live in a milder climate.

It's called hyperhydrosis. They say it's normal, but it makes us feel liek freaks. I too can't wear most colours and fabrics. It helps to wear clothes with patterns on them. but I've worn them for so long that I feel like a hippy. You can try using antipersporants, That's what u want not deodorants. They might work for u. Botox is also an option if u have money. If you don't theres this huge gathering they have in texas and all people are welcome. They have free treatment and everything. People even got botox injections for free.
