Everytime i put eyeliner on my eyes get watery

the title pretty much says it all ... i want to know if this happens to anyone else and if they know why .. no its not the brand because it happens with all of them

    Ha ha ha, it's totally normal - I can't do anything remotely eye related without my eyes wanting to water... I can even watch other people have eye drops get put in; I guess I go out in sympathy with 'em!

    I used to use liner on my water line and this always happened. Now I go right under my eyelash line but so close its against the lashes. this seems to help/ i see girls wearing it on their water lines, but I guess some ppl's are more sensitive. hope this helps.

    Same happens to me. I have all kinds of allergies though. Not to anything specific, just hypersensitive to a lot of things, and the eyeliner is a substance in contact with a place that naturally wouldn't touch anything like that.

    your going to scratch your eyes and end up doing some damage. your eyes are trying to tell you its sensitive to the makeup. some people cant wear it. neutrogena makes mascara for that...if your eyes are sensitive to that as well..

      i have watery eyes when i use My Expensive £24 Pounds Yves Saint Laurent Liquid Eyeliner so i stick to mac boot black eyeline more cheaper and also Less Watery eyes

    Stop poking the eye? or you hold the eye open to long and it gets dry and react with "crying".
    and yes its normal just try to blink from time to time.
