You think it is your own fault because you have been let down by every adult in your life. You assume that it must be your fault because if it isn't, surely some adult/service would have intervened and told you it wasn't your fault, right? Wrong. Adults fuck things up all of the time. Good kids slip through the cracks sometimes.
