I care about principle in real life and perhaps projecting it on this site but when you step back and look at it for what it is you and I communicating here and now isn't real. I care in my imagination or its like playing a RPG game, spending 100 hours beating it but in the end you've accomplished nothing it's mind candy we have to resist taking personally
Do you care? Is this site entertainment to you, like what is it?
It is entertainment, but to say that's all it is would be an understatement. People have admitted to this site changing their lives ( although to what extent I do not know). I can give credit to this site for a few changes in myself as well, although I wouldn't say it's changed my life significantly. People who I know on a personal level do that. However, it does provide written evidence of changes within myself which aid me greatly with self-reflection. So, in essence, I consider this website to be my journal.
That's a perspective that makes sense to me. I've read it changing peoples lives for the good but also keeping them down as well. Being an on off member of this site for years I've seen the good (dappled days) the bad and the ugly and it's all what people make of it. Some things get bad before they get worse, some things worse before better but one thing I like about this site is the owner has its setup/system very well balanced if people will use it according to the community guide lines (which they don't) but even after that in all faucets still extremely balanced.
This website has a genuine troll-mole embedded deeply in its power user status. He's unbiased and vicious when provoked and that's one thing I will say I like about this site among other things... What if any, other topic of discussion would you like to talk about or we can continue on this one either way I wouldn't mind
How does one who values commitment to topic and is supportive of the seek and destroy troll raid (which to me doesn't seem as effective as you describe) end up becoming... well... you? Your values seem very different from what you display here. Is that because you view this site as unreal? Or are you just trying to get on my good side, eh?
No, heh. I seek not the raid of any troll. The troll isn't the problem. I'm not some SJW trying to change the world behind a computer screen or a white knight thinking he's going to get laid being a keyboard warrior.
Someone can say "please, I beg of you. Fetch me a doughnut " or "You will Fetch me that doughnut or else" The intent of the message is exactly the same "fetch the doughnut"
