    Well a gun helps. But I suppose if your first thought is a knife you are either too scared to own a gun in the first place or you arent allowed to own a gun.

    In that case just get a doorbell camera. Least you see what you are walking towards.

      Where i am from, there are no guns. Still i don't think i would own one, even if it was possible.
