Have you ever woken up and immediately thought? God I wish I died in my sleep. Life is so pointless and boring it’s painful.

    I have in the past. Now I usually just wake up cursing the fact that I am no longer alseep and that I need to pee really bad.

    Occasionally when I've been depressed and had angina attacks during the night I've woken up and been disappointed I didn't have another heart attack and die in my sleep, but this hasn't happened for quite a while

    No, but i wake up feeling empty as hell and think about how useless this day is gonna be.
    I don't feel like waking up and wish i could sleep forever. Should i call my boss to tell him i am sick? No, just keep snoozing another 20 minutes and get your shit toghether. Today will be over soon.
    When the evening falls you feel happy because you can almost go to sleep again, but you realise the sun will rise soon and you'll have to go trough it all over again.

    I haven't woken up like that on a regular basis in a long time. I believe the reason that life is more bearable for me now than it has been in the past is the existence of feline love and affection in my life.

        You're very welcome! For the love of God I cannot understand people who say they don't like animals, especially dogs and cats! If I couldn't have a cat, or a dog I would probably want to get a rat.

        I think there are good and bad people in the world, and being a non-animal person doesn't necessarily make someone bad, but there's just something about having a pet! When it comes to pets what we put into the relationship, and care of the animal tends be what we get back. It's the only investment that I can almost guarantee will always return at least 100%, or more. I don't know a lot of animals that are users, but people like that are all over the place. I can be in an emotional crisis, and call a bunch of people just to discover that they're too busy or not in the best mood themselves. My cat, however, is always prepared to comfort me, I don't even have to say a word.

    No, I've often woken up and wished I had enough money to hire someone to kill some people but never to die.
