Ever had an emergency adrenaline rush?

Story time! When I was at a family reunion I and most of my family was eating. Out of the corner of my eye I saw one of my cousins who was just three accidentally peddle his tricycle over an edge of a hill leading into a forest full of thorny bushes. Now I’m not a physically fit nor agile person but I apparently jumped over a table ran to the bottom of the hill, jumped into the thorn riddled bushes and caught my cousin before he even knew what was happening. After I carried him out of the bushes it turns out that I had massive lacerations on my legs yet I couldn’t feel a thing. I only felt pain after thirty minutes and I felt like I was on top of the world.
Anybody else have a Superman moment?

  • Jumped in a pool fully clothed with my wallet and iphone x because I my little brother was getting trapped under an inflatable.

Turns out he was just playing.

Didn’t even feel the temperature of the water till later. And my phone still works!

      • It only matters if the phone doesn’t work afterwards.

  • My mate did saving my life.

We where fishing off high cliffs over the ocean one day when I got snagged. I was pulling on the rod trying to get it free when I fell of the cliff into the sea. It was really ruff waves and I hit my head on the way down. We had a rather long fishing gaff with us to easily pull any fish we caught up the cliff. My friend a lot smaller then me hooked the gaff on my jacket and pulled me up. Dude couldn't lift me if he tried... Asked how he did it. Said it was just adrenaline.
