Even if there was no God, would religion still be necessary?

    So, the possibility of there being a God is the only thing that keeps you from being a total fucking asshole, huh? Lovely...

    Although I DO have to admit quite a large part of me is exactly the same way. It's pretty tempting to do certain stuff, if you know there won't be any repercussions whatsoever.

    Still, the part of me that says I shouldn't do that (even though if I would get away with it) has got the better of me.

    You're right that one could set their own rules if a God for sure didn't exist, but I personally wouldn't set evil rules. I don't think anyone should.

          It just really gets to you, it changes you, you go through life thinking it's just you that's the bad guy. Then you step back one day and look at those you've known and realise that they're all terrible human beings in their own unique ways.

            Everyone has their dark side. Some people seem to have a darker dark side than others though. Try not to let them get to you.
