Why don't you just explore what's out there independently of any group, and just become friends with people you connect with? Don't worry about finding a "group", just find what you like.. Food, fashion, hobbies, etc. Go to different places. Explore anything that seems like something you would enjoy. See where that takes you, and if the person you end up being doesn't fit any stereotype? So be it, people weren't meant to be so easily pinned down. :)
