I think I need to clear my situation a bit better. Imagine that you leave your country of origin at the age of 12 and you arrive in a small country with a very small subculture community and you are supposed to study in a foreign language. In highschool all I did was study 3 times more than my classmates just to be at their level while my mates formed groups of subculture that I never got the chance to join. Now that I'm free and willing do you suggest I shouldn't bother and perhaps kill myself for a change?
