Don't listen to those people. I went through my emo stage. And just because you're emo does not automatically mean that you cut yourself. I change my style a lot and its perfectly normal. 8th grade and freshmen year i was emo/punk. sophmore year i turned more preppy. I still own my yellow high tops and black v necks and colored skinnies. And, i still ocassionally tease my hair. Which is typically more scene than emo. But its what you wanna be and how you wanna dress. Whos says your craving attention or hurting yourself? I know cheerleaders and just regular people who have cut themselves. Being emo has nothing to do with it.
