  • I did watch it all and it seems blacklady was exactly the ignorant woman (certainly no lady) she was trying to reach.
Anyway, it was a far cry from what I expected. It was well written and well presented. She made some very valid points that need to be addressed, especially considering so many of us do equate feminism with man-hating. Good on you Emma, you go girl.

    • Well, there have feminists that have "done" more hatred things in regards to men than feminists that have "done" good things for men, and yet the so called "non-man hating feminists" have done nothing to tell those feminists/women to stop hating men...So what do you expect?

      • Wow, you and I took completely different things away from that speech, I guess. I really have no response if that's what you got from it.

        • Well what do you expect. Feminism has always claimed to be for equality, even for men, yet done nothing to solve male issues, and I am supposed to just believe something called "HE FOR SHE" is going to be about helping men, too? Why? Becuase she says that she wants men to stop having to be controlling which can be done by them being able to express their emotions in order to help women not be submissive which is more of a "Hey, right now men, you are the problem, but hey, I can help you" type of thing which feminists have "always" done and said way before Emma Watson did, and yet even though that is a small male issue compared to the rest, they still haven't even done anything about that small male issue...But I am just to believe they are being real this time?

Their words are pretty, even when they're wrong they are pretty words, but their actions have no appearance when it comes to sorting male issues of inequality because they have done nothing to fix male issues of inequality.

I'll listen to their words and take them seriously when their actions to help men start, but untill then they can have celebrity after celebrity saying the exact same stuff normal day feminists state and I still won't take their words seriously until they start taking action.
