It's normal for people to lose some of their inhibitions when they've been drinking and to do things that are otherwise out of character for them.
Everybody around you could surely see that you were under the influence, and most probably made allowance for you because of that.
Being that is was a national holiday celebration there is a good chance most or all of the people you grabbed were somewhat under the influence also, and may not even remember what you did.
One caveat; you should be more careful not to drink so much that you let yourself go like that. If you grab the ass of a girl whose guy has his wits about him because he is a nondrinker like me, you could get the shit kicked out of you!
