  • I genuinely enjoy them both to an extent (their far from my favourite preferences though), but not the mainstream, popular sides of the genres that people usually dance to in clubs. Sorry to sound like an insufferable hipster, but I don't much like anything with wub-wubs or drops (yes, you can get dubstep and EDM without wobbles, drops and "heavy synths"). Don't get me wrong, drops can be really fun, but they feel repetitive and simplistic and as if not a lot of thought has gone into the music.

    • I totally agree. Although I personally prefer people like Skrillex to more underground and 'classic' dubstep artists, I think that the build-drop formula gets super old. But give me something creative and I'll truly enjoy it. But I think Skrillex is better than a lot of other people on the brostep scene. He's a lot more creative than most UKF stuff, for example.
