On a serious note though, I used ecstasy for a couple of years in my late teens (a few pills a month) and developed a pretty severe clinical depression after this (that remains to this day), I can't be sure if it was the MDMA (or if I was even getting MDMA in the first place) but some research point a link between depression and impaired cognitive functions from pro-longed ecstasy use.
Personally if I could go back in time I'd avoid it altogether, or at least limit the use to a few times a year.
However most of my former ecstasy-popping friends are perfectly healthy and happy, and they used way more than I ever did.
ecstasy?.
