A couple years ago I was practising OOBE. What you described happens often when your body falls asleep before your mind does. I could feel something very similar just as my body was falling asleep but I kept my mind awake on purpose. Some people's minds fall asleep slower, some minds wake up before the body does... The last one causes you to hallucinate and feel the dream paralysis. I also expirence the sleep paralysis you were talking about here you hallucinate the hallucinations also happen during the shaking
