I recently had sex for the first time, we used a condom and everything seemed fine and normal. The day after my period came, about 5 or 6 days early, it was my normal period ie the right length ect, so it wasn't just bleeding from sex, was just wondering if this is normal or should I get it checked out? Also my boyfriend was worrying, but if my period had come the day after, I can't be pregnant can I? Or should I also get that checked out? IIN?
From what I remember with my ex gf, she had something similar happen. Any girls correct me if I'm wrong, but a late period usually means the possibility of pregnancy, hence the phrase "I'm late." You may just be experiencing remnants of blood from your hymen breaking after your first time, or maybe you just had an early cycle as stated above. Regardless, grab a pregnancy test from the drug store, and if you're not sure, setup a doctors appointment.
Yes. You can be pregnant. Not saying you are...you used a condom so it's unlikely, but my point is that getting your period the day after sex does not rule out pregnancy. A woman can get her period all the way through a pregnancy.
I stress and other things can also cause you to have your period early or miss it altogether.
I suggest doing a little reading and learning about how your body works before continuing to engage in sex. If you don't know these basic things, you're probably not ready for sex.
