It's a natural attraction. 100% I meant it in a reassuring way, since you made it sound like you had nothing to offer. Just wanted to add: It doesn't always matter what race someone is, it's common for people to appose couples. My 20 year old friend had to disown her own family in order to be with the man she loved. They had no reason to dislike him, just like your situation. It's a shame your friends and family feel like being so outwardly racist, but in the end, it comes down to being a relationship people ignorantly have trouble accepting. It would be best to make a decision on how to handle it. Defending your relationship, or giving in.
