    Some great comments. I could read into this from so many angles. Just a wild hair. Are you familiar with concepts such as "walking the veil," dream walking? There is a chance, however crazy it may sound, that on some level, you are truly experiencing this.....tough to explain but research the veil/dream walking

      you talking about lycanthropy where crazy people are rubbing themselves with a hallucinogenic ointment? or something genetic?
