It seems like most people want to do something for halloween, and I have got invites from people for costume parties, but I have absolutely no interest in halloween now that i am 20 years old. I could care less about halloween now, but when I was younger I loved getting a new costume every year and going trick-or-treating. Is anyone else like this or am I just a party pooper? haha
there are activities and/or parties for older kids too.. I'm sure there has to be something you like. It's about being social. If you're shy then just take it with stride. you have plenty of time.
Halloween always was, and always will be the BEST! There are plenty of things adults can do to celebrate. Just because you're getting older doesn't mean you can't have fun!
Yeah it's a commercial event for kids. I guess only people who realize that actually don't give a shit about halloween
I like to give out candy now. Putting on scary sounds. It's sad these days now. I only give out about 30 snack size bars. 25 years ago I couldn't keep up with the candy. I would need to get more.
You can still have fun with it or avoid it all together. Try handing out candy, oohing and aahing over how scary they look. A nice way to give back what you received as a kid.
many interesting things become uninteresting with time.
It happens to most of us.
