Well I'm not that much of a stereotypical man myself. I'm certainly not "one of the lads".
I hate playing and watching team sports. I'm skinny and not very athletic. Id much prefer to do take pictures or make animations.
Although I am straight I make a conscious effort not to ogle at girls like the masculine stereotype. Sometimes my friends will say things like "I would do her" when they see an attractive girl and all I usually do is vaguely wonder if she noticed that I was the only one not staring at her tits.
The masculine stereotype seems to make us out to be arseholes. And the female one makes out that women are either pathetic weaklings or self-centred bitches. I think it's a good thing not to be at those extremes.
I think somewhere in between conformist and rebel is the best place to be.
