Dogs of the holocaust 'film'

I care so passionately about animal rights and history and want to make a film called Dogs Of The Holocaust.
In this I will talk about the different breeds of dogs that lived in Nazi Germany and Poland and Checoslavakia and Ukraine and see how they were treated. I'm not sure if WWII really effected them but that's not the point.
People are so concerned about people but I empathize with animals.
The story of Hitler and the second world war is always focused on the Jews and other victims and while that is sad, the animals are just as important!
I feel like people will think its mean to talk about the dogs and not people, when really they are the mean ones forgetting about the animals!
Do you think people will like my movie or be selfish?
