  • Assuming that you're telling the truth and not simply trolling, you're being extremely cruel to your dog - and no, it's not normal.

When we hurt ourselves and rub the area that got hurt, the reason it helps ease the pain a little is because it floods the same area with "good" feelings and doing so helps to override the painful ones. That's almost certainly what your dog is doing when she licks her nose after you've assaulted her. She doesn't enjoy it. It's not a display of appreciation - it's a display of discomfort.

A dog's nose is one of the most - if not, THE most - sensitive parts of his/her body. It would be similar to someone kicking you in the groin.

Frankly, however, I believe you're trolling. You stated you don't care if anyone else thinks it's normal or not, which is the point of putting your story up. It seems you have no other aim than to provoke reactions. Quite pathetic, really.

HAHAHAHAHAHA! I like how serious you are making this!

"It would be similar to someone kicking you in the groin."
NO it is NOT~! That would be painful and it isn't causing the dog pain.

Look - I fart on my dog. I REALLY fart on my dog. I am not trollin'. The dog doesn't care. Sometimes, the dog willingly sniffs my farts. Dogs like smells and to the dog it is just another smell. I find it amusing and it makes me laugh. My dog just moves on to the next activity - like eating shit out of the cat box!

Also, I have to smell my dogs stinky farts all the time and it doesn't think it's cruel to humans to curl up next to me on the couch and then silently fart out nasty ass dog farts next to me. So I think me and my dog are even and you are a tremendous overly-sensitive pussy.
