I think this is beautiful and awesome. Your story made me smile! In answer to your question, yes, people have a problem with it. But those people are ignorant fools and their opinion should mean nothing to you. Let them go ahead and waste their time worrying about you. It's not your problem! You are happy and secure in your relationship and if they really have a problem with that, it just means they must be unhappy. Wish them well, and that one day they might be able to find the peace and love that you have found.
