Texture plays a part, for sure. Lots of people dislike mushrooms for the texture. I won't eat certain (most) seafood for the same reason. Aside from taste, it's all about that mouthfeel, baby. It matters. And too much of one thing is just blah, gotta have soft and hard and smooth and creamy and crunchy and whatever all together for the best bite, right?

i mean, when eating i don't taste ANYTHING, i can just know that it's something salad, bitter or sweet or whatever it is, unless it's something with a really strong flavor hahha i'm making too much of this topic bye

I have trouble with certain textures and everyone thinks I’m ridiculous. But certain textures, for example yogurt, if not mixed with granola or other things, just makes me gag.
