  • nothing wrong with kids seeing nudity as long as it's not porn - one of the many reasons is that kids shouldn't be exposed to sex in such a misinterpreted way . I agree with the above qoute that porn is a demeaning and shallow respresentation of the beautiful human body full of boundless potential as depicted, for instance, in the works of the classical artists. Are we to close the eyes of our 8 year old so he won't see the nude statues in a museum?(that what my parents did to me. but me and my brother later "got lost" and found our way back to the forbidden nudity. because yeah children are curious and closing their eyes make them even more curious). There is nothing innately sexual about nakedness but it is the judea-christian fear of that potential sexuality that distorted the western mind to make them somehow inseperable. The human body is an amazing thing and children should understand that- it is nothing too be ashamed or embarassed about and nakedness doesn't automatically mean sex!. The earlier they learn it the better. In my house we are often nude and it makes things so much easier- no embarassment, no shame, all those "ackward" questions are just answered naturally.
it is not normal for humans to be constantly hiding their bodies under some disguise (when not necessary)- it's psychologically disturbing in fact. Why are we afraid to be naked?
