Does it annoy you when cops are disappointed when there's no crime?

  • Oh experience! Like how I've been on at least 10 ride alongs with cops? Forgot to put that on my resume for you. How many have you been on? Ooooooh right...you were on one while watching Alaska Troopers? Well, if you watch Reno 911, you're in for a big surprise.

    • Wow, 10 ride-alongs? Holy shit!! Well, I've been in a cop car way more than 10 times. Not always in the front seat, admittedly. I know many cops, en con officers and game wardens. My family has been very close friends with a long-time cop forever now, he used to bring us confiscated shit all the time like bikes and crap. Big deal. I know how to take what I read or hear or see and process/sort it pretty well.

I used to be the reporter for a youth group I was in. I know firsthand that papers fuck up. A lot. But I also know how to fact-check, or use common sense to determine the accuracy of a story. I also read the corrections column, which most people don't do.

And you don't think that on a ride-along that the cop is probably trying to impress you or be on his best behavior? You don't believe a newspaper but you take a ride-along with a cop as absolute accuracy? Dumbass.

      • LOL I'm really liking the name calling. Glad we could be adult about this. Hopefully you enjoyed the cop's smiling face while you're in the back knowing you gave him the satisfaction of catching someone. I'd just rather try to find the truth than using "common sense" aka conjecture. No big deal. I just wanted to try you out after your rants on abortion that made no sense. The others were right...you are fucked up in the head. I guess we all are to some extent ha! Now let's see...dumbass, idiot...what shall be next?

        • Yeah, only problem was, they couldn't convict me. That's the important part, and they failed. So, yeah, I guess you could say I enjoyed the looks on their faces when I walked out of the courthouse free as a bird. It gives me a warm fuzzy feeling every time I think about it, thanks for stirring up the fond memories.

Cunt!! (was that an insult or my tourettes acting up again? I guess we'll never know)
