Nobody, and I mean NOBODY should be considering a marriage to anyone who is not at least bringing something close to what they are financially to that same marriage. Male or female. Sure on average men have a higher net worth so naturally this would apply more to men (for which I will now get downvoted for saying) but the legal system is set up to penalize those that have it and reward those that do not.

This is basically true, with the caveat that within the ranks of the 1%, prenups are expected for everyone.
