Lol@American Indians being free. They were constantly murduring eachother, why do you think there were so many tribes fighting over territory? And you think the chief didn't have more power and freedoms than lesser members of social hierarchies? Hollywood, cultural propaganda, and poor education systems have painted them as this innocent benevolent saint-angel culture devoid of corruption until the "evil white man" ruined it...
The fact is the modern western social and governmental constructs provide the most freedom humanity has ever had.
