Does anyone who has a religion think this?

  • Right you are my man. Secularists have no interest in other people's delusions. Clunk's delusions about God, atheist's delusions about whatever, absolutely do not matter. We profess that there is beauty in the creation of wealth.

Perhaps by statistical anomaly there may be correlation between Clunk's religious beliefs and his taste in cars. This would make a secularist want to produce and market goods to make Clunk happy with the delusions he already has. There are also implications for society. I work on missiles that balance power to ensure peace. Peaceful delusion in a society is good for sales. I would never work on preemptable weapons because they only encourage the first shot to be fired. Sales might be good initially, but economic prosperity never lasts during a war.

Secularists would like to tell the world that we don't fucking care about your deluded views and ideals. Keep spending your money; we will create advertising that helps you to enjoy it. We want our goods and services to make you feel good inside with the delusions that already fill your brain.

    • Yet you have deluded views of your own, and seem to appreciate sharing them. You believe there is beauty in the creation of wealth. That's not true; there is no inherent beauty in wealth.

      • Yes, a primitive mind like yours would not be able to comprehend the economic interdependence that fuels civilization and gives people better lives. I believe you do not have the reasoning ability for this level of conversation.
