Your therapist isn't your friend. They're only posing as a "friend" because you pay them. It's their job to be your "friend". You're not their friend. You're just another client who's wallet they suck dry.
People who consider their therapist a true friend is insane, which is why they went to a therapist in the first place.
I know, but this therapist, due to therapeutic approaches, is actually open towards having non-sexual dual relationships with her clients. Its not illegal and I am open to the idea. She hasn't brought it up because it would be too early in the therapeutic relationship to do so. I don't see her as a friend. Right now, she is a doctor and a person that I really connect with and again, one of the few sensible people that I know.
Does anyone on this site have any REAL friends?

Yeah because therapists aren't humans like everyone else who develops feelings toward and connections between other humans.
