I had a record of theirs back in higb school. I didn't understand a word of it, except I remember that 1 of the songs was Annie Laurie and the tenor soloist was wonderful. It was 1 of the things that made me want to take Russian.
Wow that's great. I also took Russian because of this (there were other reasons, of course)
Yeah the other reason was that I read Brothers Karamazov and couldn’t put it down. So I thought it would be cool to read some of it in the original. Little did I know that classical 19th century Russian was way different and it took me hours to get through a page.
